Arkema S.A. inaugurated a new acrylic acid purification unit at its Carling site in France on October 8, 2026. The company said the unit improves the energy efficiency of the purification process by 25%.
The new unit reduces the carbon intensity of the site's operations by 20%, according to Arkema.
The site's production technology also helps optimize resource and waste management while significantly reducing solvent consumption.
