Borealis CEO Roger Kearns said the group is completing the integration of its three core businessesu2014Borealis, Borouge and Nova Chemicalsu2014into a polyolefins company with $25 billion in annual revenue. He said many European plants operate successfully but are too small to participate in global competition, and some small production sites need to exit the market. He cited Japan and South Korea as references for capacity optimization through coordinated national industrial policies.
