Changchun Hipersmart Technology started construction on August 12, 2026, of an organic electronic materials industrialization project in the Changchun North Lake Fine Chemical and New Materials Industrial Demonstration Park. The project has total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, covers 100,000 square meters, and includes synthesis process units, sublimation buildings, R&D buildings, and supporting facilities.
Upon full production, the project is expected to produce 20 tonnes per year of organic electroluminescent (OLED) materials with an annual output value of 2 billion yuan and 200 new jobs. The project targets the growing OLED display materials market, where China is investing heavily to reduce dependence on imported materials.
