Chengzhi Shareholding reported revenue of RMB 8.412 billion for the first nine months of 2026, down 3.35% year on year. Net profit rose 149.82% to RMB 259 million, and non-recurring net profit rose 197.74% to RMB 338 million.
The company attributed the revenue decline to price volatility in chemical products at subsidiary Nanjing Chengzhi and annual maintenance at some production units.
In the third quarter, higher methanol feedstock costs and limited pass-through on olefin products led to a small quarterly loss. Subsidiary Chengzhi Yonghua, a major domestic liquid crystal materials producer, performed well.
In April 2026, the board approved an investment by Nanjing Chengzhi New Materials in an MMA and PMMA project at the Nanjing Jiangbei New Area New Materials Science and Technology Park.
The feasibility study has been completed, pre-engineering technical exchanges on the main units are done, and a Jiangsu provincial investment project filing certificate has been obtained.
