Equinor will sell Johan Sverdrup crude to ORLEN under an agreement running three years, according to a weekly industry roundup. The deal reflects shifting crude trade flows in Europe following sanctions on Russian oil.
ORLEN operates one of Europe's largest refining and petrochemical complexes in Plock, Poland, and has been diversifying crude supply sources. Johan Sverdrup is a key crude grade from the Norwegian North Sea.
