The gains came as China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued an implementation plan targeting a reduction of more than 17% in industrial carbon emission intensity by 2030 versus 2025, promoting zero-carbon factories and carbon footprint standards, according to a CFi.CN report.

September customs data showed R32 exports at 4,354 mt, down 34% year on year but up 70% quarter on quarter; R134a at 9,089 mt, down 5% year on year and up 23% quarter on quarter; and R125/R143 at 2,098 mt, up 155% year on year and 74% quarter on quarter, per a Shenyin Wanguo research note.

Dye intermediate H-acid prices rose to 250,000 yuan/mt on October 19 as environmental enforcement cut operating rates, and Zhejiang Longsheng's Hongsheng unit issued a price increase for a reducing agent to 200,000 yuan/mt on October 21.

Agrochemical prices firmed, with glufosinate at 70,000 yuan/mt, up 10,000 yuan week on week, glyphosate at 29,500 yuan/mt and clethodim at 75,000 yuan/mt. Analysts expect fourth-quarter refrigerant exports to recover on low overseas inventories.
