Repsol has opened a 200,000 t/year renewable diesel plant in Puertollano, Spain. The €130 million plant converts waste oils into renewable diesel for road, truck and ship use, avoiding approximately 700,000 tCO2 per year on a lifecycle basis. The plant uses renewable hydrogen from a €16 million facility and enables sustainable aviation fuel production, supporting jobs and circularity.
