Two laborers were injured after a tank exploded at a chemical factory in the Mahad MIDC area of Raigad district in Maharashtra, India. The explosion occurred at Synergia Chem Industries, with the impact reportedly felt in surrounding villages.
One of the injured workers sustained serious injuries. Both were shifted to a hospital for treatment. Fire brigade personnel and police teams rushed to the site after receiving information about the blast.
Officials said there was no gas leakage reported following the incident. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
