Build the infrastructure for global chemical trade

FineChem.net sits between chemical sourcing, company verification and cross-border documentation. We are a product-minded team working on practical problems for an industry that runs on detail.

How we work

High standards, real constraints

We care about making complex trade information easier to use without oversimplifying it. That means clear thinking, careful language and a willingness to show the limits of what we know.

Product-minded

Start with the user's task, not the feature list. A supplier profile, an RFQ or a document upload should make the next step obvious.

Evidence over hype

Verification, compliance and market data are easy to overstate. We prefer precise claims, visible sources and honest caveats.

Global by default

Chemical supply chains cross languages, regulations and time zones. We design for buyers and suppliers who work across borders.

Areas of work

The kinds of work that may open up

These are functions, not current job openings. If your background fits one of them, you are welcome to send a short introduction.

Engineering & data

PHP and MySQL-backed product work, search and catalogue quality, integrations, document handling and the reliability of a public marketplace.

Product & design

Clear flows for sourcing, supplier onboarding, RFQs and document exchange, with a bias toward usable B2B interfaces rather than decoration.

Marketplace operations

Supplier support, listing quality, verification coordination and the day-to-day work that keeps a directory useful and current.

Trust & compliance

Review processes, documentation checks and careful communication about what verification and compliance screening can and cannot establish.

Industry content

Product data, market notes, exhibition coverage and practical explainers for buyers and suppliers working in chemical trade.

Commercial partnerships

Supplier relationships, industry associations, exhibitions and responsible advertising partnerships that fit the platform.

Introduce yourself

A short note is enough to start

Send an email to bd@finechem.net with the subject line Careers - [area]. Tell us what you have worked on, what you would like to do next and why this problem interests you.

There is no application portal and no account to create. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or other sensitive personal data at this stage.

Recruitment notice

FineChem.net will never ask a candidate to pay a fee, buy equipment or share bank details as part of recruitment. Our only careers contact is bd@finechem.net.

What to include

Keep the first note focused

  • The area that fits your experience
  • A short summary of relevant work
  • A CV or profile link, if you are comfortable sharing one
  • Your time zone and preferred working arrangement
  • What you want to learn or take ownership of

We review introductions against the work we actually have. If there is no fit today, we may not be able to reply individually.

Not sure where you fit?

Tell us what you are good at

If the areas above do not map neatly to your experience, send a short note anyway. Clear evidence of relevant work is more useful than a perfect category match.
